How Hoppy Bunny handles your information — in plain language.

Last updated

The short version

Hoppy Bunny has no accounts and we do not collect your personal information. Your game progress stays on your device. The game is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may process some device data to show and measure those ads — you can limit this at any time. Optional in-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple.

1. Who we are

Hoppy Bunny (the “App”) is developed and published by Hacı Mert Gökhan, an independent developer publishing as Hamego Games (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question, contact hacimertgokhan@gmail.com.

2. Information we do not collect

The App does not ask you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or any other personal information, and we do not run our own analytics or servers for the App.

3. Information stored on your device

To remember your progress, the App saves the following data locally on your device only: levels unlocked, stars, carrots, upgrades, best scores, the wardrobe items you own and wear, a run in progress (so you can continue it), total play time, your settings (sound, camera, graphics, haptics) and a record of your in-app purchases (product and transaction identifiers, used to apply Remove Ads and the Starter Pack). This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. It is removed when you use Settings → Reset progress (see Delete My Data for exactly what is reset) or delete the App.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App shows ads provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited. Ads are never shown during your first 10 minutes of play. After that the App may show an interstitial ad when a game ends (at most once every 60 seconds), and you can optionally watch a rewarded ad to continue a run after crashing (once per run).

To serve, personalize, cap and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process:

Google acts as an independent controller of this data. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

5. In-app purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see or receive your name, Apple ID or payment details. Apple may keep your purchase history under its own privacy policy. The App only stores a record of what was bought (product and transaction identifiers) on your device so it can apply your purchases.

ProductTypeWhat you getPrice (US)
Handful of CarrotsConsumable300 carrots$0.79
Basket of CarrotsConsumable1,800 carrots$3.99
Sack of CarrotsConsumable3,000 carrots$5.99

Consumable packs add carrots to your balance and are used up. Non-consumable purchases (Remove Ads and the one-time Starter Pack) are yours to keep and can be restored on any of your devices with Wardrobe → Carrots → Restore purchases. Prices shown are US prices; the App Store always shows the final price in your local currency.

6. Your choices

App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

The App asks for your permission before your Advertising Identifier can be used for tracking. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in a region where consent is required, the App shows Google’s consent form (User Messaging Platform) before ads are personalized. You can review or change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices inside the App.

Resetting your advertising identifier

You can reset or disable your Advertising Identifier in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising.

Removing ads

The optional Remove Ads purchase turns off interstitial ads. Rewarded ads are always optional and only shown when you choose to watch one.

7. Children

The App is designed for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data retention and deletion

We do not hold any of your data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to retain. Local game data stays on your device until you reset it or delete the App. See Delete My Data for step-by-step instructions, including how to limit data processed by Google.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) or US state privacy laws) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not collect personal data, most requests can be completed directly on your device as described above. For data processed by Google, you can exercise your rights through Google; for purchase history, through Apple. You may also contact us at hacimertgokhan@gmail.com, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Security

Game data is stored in the App’s private storage on your device and is protected by iOS. Communication between the App and Google’s ad services and Apple’s App Store is encrypted.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App changes. The “Last updated” date above will always show the latest version. Significant changes will be announced in the App’s release notes.
