Tap Play and swipe in any direction: the drop slides until the window frame stops it and paints every pane it passes. Paint every pane to finish the window. Undo, Restart and Hint are in the bottom bar. From Exhibition 3 some windows have two drops — tap a drop to choose which one moves.

No. There are no timers and no lives. Undo is unlimited, and every level has been checked by a solver, so every window can be finished.

Finish a window in par moves for three stars. It is never required.

A hint shows the next move as a soft ghost trail. Hints refill over time; if you run out, you can optionally watch a short ad for +2 hints.

Paints buy cosmetics in the Studio: drop shapes, watercolor papers and window frames. Nothing gameplay-related is sold.

Yes. The game is fully playable offline; ads and purchases simply become unavailable without a connection.

Ads keep Watercolor Windows free. You will never see ads during your first 10 minutes of play. After that an ad may appear when you tap Next window — never during a level, at most once a minute and not more often than every 3 windows. Rewarded ads (+2 hints, Double paints) are always optional.

Open Studio → Paints. Remove Ads turns off interstitial ads (optional rewarded ads stay available). Restore purchases is in Studio → Paints and in Settings.

Progress is saved only on your device, so it is lost if the App is deleted or progress is reset. It is not synced between devices. Purchases can always be restored.

Open Settings and turn on Battery saver.
