Frequently asked questions
How do I play?
Tap Open to start the night. Plants show small bubbles when they need care: tap a tool in the bottom bar (Water, Light, Prune, Repot), then tap the plant, or drag the tool onto it. When a customer arrives, tap a plant, check its tag and tap Sell. A night shift takes about one to three minutes and ends with a results card.
Can I fail a night?
No. There are no timers and no wrong answers: a perfect match earns a heart and a tip, and a so-so match simply pays a little less.
How do plants grow?
Care makes plants grow through four stages: Sprout, Young, Mature and Blooming. Plants also keep growing in real time while you are away, for up to 8 hours.
How does cross-breeding work?
From night 2, the greenhouse crosses two grown plants overnight (or after a little real time). Some pairs create brand-new species for your Plant Almanac.
Where do I get seeds?
From the shop, as cuttings when you prune, from the daily Midnight Delivery and as gifts from your regulars.
What is the Midnight Delivery?
A free crate of coins and seeds arrives every day. Come back on consecutive days to build a streak — day 7 includes a special seed.
Can I play offline?
Yes. The game is fully playable offline; ads and purchases simply become unavailable without a connection.
Why do I see ads?
Ads keep Night Shift Plant Shop free. You will never see ads during your first 10 minutes of play. After that an ad may appear when you leave the results card — never during a night shift. Rewarded ads (Double coins, Instant grow) are always optional.
How do I remove ads or restore a purchase?
Open Shop → Coins. Remove Ads turns off interstitial ads (optional rewarded ads stay available). Restore purchases is in Shop → Coins and in Settings.
My progress disappeared.
Progress is saved only on your device, so it is lost if the App is deleted or progress is reset. It is not synced between devices. Purchases can always be restored.
My phone gets warm or the game feels slow.
Open Settings and turn on Battery saver (30 fps, lower resolution, fewer effects), or turn off Shadows.
